Duo pianists Shoko Baba and Naoko Ishibashi continue to garner an enthusiastic reception around the world. Having performed December 1, 2007, at the B & B Prizewinners’ Recital in the Bechstein Showroom Auditorium, they are rapidly establishing themselves, in Japan and elsewhere, as true virtuosi. Shoko Baba and Naoko Ishibashi, as winners of the Bradshaw & Buono in the College/Adult Division, continue to garner recognition and visibility in their native Japan, having appeared since May in the Mainichi Shimbun (link - PDF file, 1.0 MB), Yomiuri Shimbun, Asahi Shimbun and Tokyo Shimbun newspapers, as well as in Piano Magazine, on Kamakura Cable TV and NHK Radio.
